The Gay Garden Club is a Dutch gardening club which aims to improve the gardening knowledge and skills of its memers in sociable manner. We organize a variety of events (mostly one-day): lectures, workshops, barbeque and visits to botanical gardens, gardens of members.
The Society promotes the growing of Australian and New Zealand native plants in the Uk. It does this by means of a twice yearly bulletin, seed distribution, and occasional meetings of members at locations with plants of interest to members. Overseas members welcome.
A global on-line community of enthusiastic gardeners who exchange seeds amongst themselves. There is a regional sub-group for the United Kingdom. The group has a web-site that is available to all, with practical information about seed saving, cleaning and storing.
Founded in 1978 to all bring together those interested in carnivorous plants. Regular meetings allow members to meet and sell or swap plants. The society operates a very extensive seed bank, which is free to members
Formed in 1952, the society is the main amateur gardening group in West Edinburgh. With a range of illustrated talks held monthly from October to May, we cater for all interests. We also have a flower show in August.
The Gref is directed by Phd Livio Poldini. A lot of new species for the country (region Fvg, capital Trieste) and even for Italy have been discovered by the group. At study a possible new species, genus Pinguicola. It is at work the 1:25.000 map for plant location.
