Scotland's Millennium Garden located in the central Scottish Highlands specialising in hardy northern Temperate, Boreal and Alpine botanical species. Opening in June 2001 - the real Millennium !
Asperupgaard is situated on the Island of Fuenen. The garden is dominated by hundreds of rhododendrons, mainly Asian species. More than 70 different magnolias. Old roses and wild roses. Many alpines. The site contains more than 700 photos.
The visitor-garden open in spring, is enriched with 500 species of bulbs, perennials and evergreens which are harmoniously situated. Little streams tumble over rocks and through crevices into the pond. Yearly many visitors come from all over the world.
