The former kitchen gardens to the Swedish royal household. Situated in Hagapark one of the finest English style parks in N. Europe. Stockholms oldest conservatory, attractions outside and inside make a visit to the gardens most memorable.
Originally built in 1822 - the large working walled kitchen garden, and pleasure gardens were completely restored in 1998/9 by the Molony family. It is now a very important Irish garden. Visitors also enjoy woodland nature trails, restaurant, children's farmyard, and museum.
Cultivate has created an urban permaculture garden, demonstrating economic plants, and providing a resource for teacher training and visitors' delight. Access to this unique rooftop garden is at street level. Cultivate also offers classes, a bookstore, and plants for sale.
