| Hi everyone,
I've never traded anything before, but I've got a shelf full of seeds and just saw a picture of mini Tinkerbell F1 bell-peppers and thought they were so cute. I'm hoping to maybe do a trade or send postage for them.
I only need a couple seeds (max. 3) as my "garden" consists of a couple windowboxes and the floor in front of my kitchen glass door.
I'm also looking for almost any sort of herbs/spices, esp. Asian/Mediterranean ones, and Veggies/Fruits which can be grown in containers, i.e. bush/mini/dwarf varieties.
Send me an e-mail at: gamblingbear [at] lundeens.us
Hope to hear from you.
THanks!
Nicole
My Seed list - sorry nothing too 'exotic', well maybe the Texas stuff is
** All store bought (except the cocktail tomatoes)
** 2007 or 2008 purchases
** Stored in fridge with air circulation
VEGGIES:
- Bell peppers, Yolo Wonder, red & green (full size, not container size)
- Kopfsalat (I think this is Butterhead lettuce in English, a leafy, medium green salad lettuce) - pkg. says it's non-GMO and naturally resistant to 'Nasonovia ribisnigri'.
- Balkonstar Tomatoes (bush tomatoes for a container or in the garden)
- Hot red peppers (Pfefferoni in German) (for container or garden growth)
- Red Onions (seeds not sets)
- Dwarf French Beans Berggold / Buschbohnen Berggold (pckg. says good for freezing, grows to 45 cm high, with beans 11-13 cm long)
- Cocktail tomatoes (I collected them from a plant I bought last year, mine grew to about 160 cm tall - no guarantee on the germination of the seeds as it was my 1st time collecting seeds, no other info as the seller was very uninformative )
HERBS:
- Basil, the basic big green leaf kind
- Thai Basil
- Lemon Basil
- Oregano
- Rosemary
- Chives (thin variety)
- Parsley, plain flat-leaf variety
- Lemon grass
- Rucola/Arugala (rucola selvatica)
- Bärlauch/Wild Garlic/Bear's Garlic (Alium ursinum)
FLOWERS:
- 'Musicbox' Sunflowers - cute little sunflowers, grow up to 70 cm high
- Texas Bluebonnets (Lupinus Texensis)
- Texas Wildflowers - a mix of bluebonnets, lance-leaf coreopsis, indian blanket, plains coreopsis, black-eyed susan, lemon mint, drummon phlox, cornflower & corn poppy (It's a mix so I can't separate out the different flowers.)
TREE
- Sommerlinde/Large Leaved Linden (I can't imagine I'll be planting this in my kitchen anytime soon, but I got them free from my bank last year.)
