Lavender, any
Lovage

Hello Salvora,

I have a lot of the seeds you're looking for, but I already have the Nepeta cataria lemon and it's too cold here to grow Camelia's. Do you have other seeds?

Hi Jonna

Many thanks for your message. I apologise for not having replied to you before, I didn´t notice your reply. I thought I was supposed to get an email telling me that someone had replied to my post but that didn't happen.

No, right now I don't have any other seeds. I have just started harvesting seeds and my own garden indeed.

I have a friend who has a big vegetable garden, maybe he can help me out. What seeds are you interested in?

I live in the North of Spain.

Thanks,

Salvora

Hi Salvora,

On my website (see below) you can see what I'm looking for.
I'm also interested in unusual gourds/pumpkins, french beans, cucumber, unusual vegetables and herbs.
I live in Belgium, so I can't grow everything you can grow in Spain.

Kind regards,
Jonna

Hi Jonna

Thank you for your reply.

Where I come frome there is a variety of peppers called Pimientos del Couto (Capsicum Annuum L). They are autoctonous and I think they are only produced in this area.

They are sweet peppers. They are harvested for consumption while they are green and small. Fried whole in olive oil with a bit of coarse salt is the traditional way of eating them here, and it makes a simple and nice side dish or tapas dish. I don't imagine that you have this, and I wonder if this is something you'd like to try. I guess you would have to grow it under cover, indoors, and plant it outside during the summer.

Further south we have another autoctonous variety of peppers, called Pimientos de Padron. These are very similar, and they are cooked in the same way, but are very hot.

I don't actually have the seeds myself right now but I can easily get them if you are interested.

I have heard it rains a lot in Belgium? It rains a lot here too (Galicia, northwest Spain) so some of the weather conditions might be similar.

Hi Salvora,

I would like to get seeds of both peppers. I'm always in for autoctonous seeds.
Since the email alert doesn't work anymore, I suggest we talk further via email. You can email me at jonnasudenius@skynet.be
