WANTED: Seeds of Mediterranean Salvias, Sideritis, Origanum

Has anyone seeds available of Mediterranean Salvias, Sideritis or Origanum species? I am especially interested in
Salvia fruticosa, Salvia pomifera (apple-bearing sage), and other aromatic Salvia species, Sideritis species, used as (Greek) mountain tea, and Origanum species like Origanum hirtum and Origanum minutiflorum from the Mediterranean region. I have seeds available of many different Salvias and also root cuttings of about 60 Mentha species. |

| I can certainly help with seed of Sideritis syriaca (although it is a couple of years old) - one of my favourite herbs and hardy enough to grow here in mid-Norway. A real puzzle that it's not more widely grown although coming from the mountainous areas of Greece etc. including the White Mountains of Crete it may well easier to grow in a colder climate. I wrote an article about it in a Norwegian Herb magazine a couple of years ago... Have a look in my trade list - there are quite a few Mediterranean labiates in there. |
