Hi! I'm in Canada and I really, REALLY would love to find some seeds for native Italian flowers (or plants commonly grown in southern Italy). My parents are from Calabria and I would love to surprise them with some seeds from their homeland...

Some of the plants you see everywhere in most parts of Italy are the Oleanders and Bougainvillea. Further south in Calabria you will of course find most of the Cactus family including the famous Indian Figs (Fighi del India).

Jasmine is one.... calabria is supposed to have alot of jasmine "plantations" or farms.... also crocus, cyclamen, bluebell (spanish I presume?) and violets (like parma?) periwinkles, alpine pasque flower and spring gentians.
