Exchange figs with me?

Hi, please forgive me, I do not know Italian, but I'm hoping some of you know English since I've seen some Italians on the US garden forum. I'm married to an Italian, does that count? :)

I have some UCDavis cuttings left over, and I'm desperately looking for some of the larger (REALLY BIG) Italian and Greek figs that aren't available over here commercially. I would love to trade with anyone who has figs that aren't available here. This is strictly for my personal use, and NOT business. I love figs and I'm building my collection, plus my husband has memories of his grandfather's HUGE figs, which is long gone. I've heard rumors of baseball sized figs in Italy - does anyone know about this?

Please, if any of you are interested, here is what I have to trade:

1. Panachee - UCD
2. UCR 228-20 (also known as Enderud - an edible caprifig)
3. Flanders - UCD
4. UCR 271-1 (Saleeb - another edible caprifig)
5. Excel - UCD
6. Beall - UCD
7. St. Jean - UCD
8. Bournabat - UCD
9. Kadota 1 - UCD
10. Monstruese - UCD
11. Col de Dame - UCD
12. Osborn Prolific - UCD
13. King - UCD
14. Giant Amber - UCD
15. Black Madeira - UCD
16. Brown Turkey (local, not UCDavis)

I'd be more than happy to send ALL of these listed above for a couple of good cuttings. I have no need for these extras anyway, and they are looking for good homes! :)

Please feel free to email me at emusicmommy@yahoo.com

Thanks!
~ Erin

RE: Exchange figs with me?

I think that I'll have rooted fig plants, bearing very small fruit, next fall.
I do not have place for other fig plant!
For small q.ty: free, no commerce.
Keep in contact
