Hello! I live on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey on a large development where the landscaping has never been completed. I have now taken on this task and hope to make use of members' expertise!

My first question: the gardeners here tell me that all planting must be done in Spring (no later than the end of April, preferably). Being a Brit, I'm keen on the old Autumn planting. Is it OK to plant in Autumn - say October/November/mild December - or will everything DIE?!
