| Hello! I'm looking to grow this plant and was hoping to find someone who has at least seen the thing! I've heard it gows wild in syria, turkey, israel and that area. Please if you know anything about this plant please email me! |

| If Chrozophora Tinctura is Chrozophora tinctoria then, yes , I’ve seen it. Annual, monoecious, tiny flowers , blooms June-October , branches up to 50 cm. Grows near the sea . This is a native plant in Crete ,with no use :). If you want I’ll take a photo. |

Hi Pellinore ! my plan was to take the photos the next weekend but while I was on our construction field today I saw this little guy ! I'll have some more this weekend. If I may ask , why is the interest?

| hi olga, thanks for the photo! the interest is, i'd like to grow some here because in the middle ages they used to make dye out of it, and some friends of mine are interested in that sort of thing and i'd like to be able to provide them with that. |

| Then your friends and I have something in common, but it is the first time I've heard something like that about Chrozophora although now that I think about it, it's name implies it. |
