Woolly Lavender Lavandula Lanata Boiss is my problem!!! I have bought it, plant it, it has grown up very much, only it doesn't look like it should be eg. http://www.mountainvalleygrowers.com/lavlantana.htm
:( the branches on my lavender are all down on the floor but they look healthy, they just do not grow straight up like on the pictures, I don't know is it to much water, or to little...How much and how ofen I should water it? It grows in a preatty big container, so the space is not a problem. Who can help meeeeeeeeee, what am I doing wrong, thanks :)))

Yes, definitely too much water!!! Do not water it at all. We do not get any rain in summer for about 5 months and it flowers its head off and the branches point to the sky, however in winter with all the rain it tends to droop. This is the time when I trim it. Mine is in the ground. My advice is move it away from rain if it is raining and water ONLY when the soil is dry.
Cheers Meggs

RE: Woolly Lavender

I live in Southern england (not noted for dryness any time of the year) and ours grows well. The soil beneath is very much amended with grit and sand, it's also topdressed with fine grit, perhaps your plant's potting medium is a little too water retentive?
