| Yes the common South African thorn tree grows in southern Spain. Right now it is in flower. Acacia Karroo grows on waste land near the Eroski Centre at Velez Malaga. Back in South Africa this tree is grown commercially and sold as a standard by garden centres. Makes a lovely shade tree. Very hardy, fast growing. Wonder if it would catch on in Spain? Contact me if you want photos. |
