Can anyone tell me when, and for how long, Jacarandas bloom in Europe.

although I have never had any Jacaranda I can say that they bloom all summer till November in the warmer parts of Greece.I went to collect some seed on Crete.It was late October and it was still blooming, but had produced enough seeds the same year.

I tried some plants here in northern Greece but they freezed.

In Portugal Jacarandas bloom from May to July but is in June that they are all covered with flowers.

I live in southern Spain and have Jacaranda trees in my garden, they usually flower from May - September.
