Rosa 'Saga'

I visited Queen Mary's Rose Garden last May and was impressed by how healthy the roses appeared. I especially liked Saga. I found it very fragrant. Now if only I could find a source for it in the US.

Harkness was the hybridizer. It was hybridized and introduced by the English firm in 1973, I was told that it is only available commercially from only one nursery in Germany.(Unfortunately, I do not know the name).
