Any Must-See Gardens in France (May '07)?

| I'm planning to go to France for the last week of May '07. If there's one must-see garden (preferably a rose garden) at that time of year, what would it be?
If it's associated with a castle, chateaux or other monument, that would probably make it an easier sell for the folks I'm travelling with.
Thanks.

| Hi, My husband and I visited France two years ago. One of the most spectacular places to visit for roses, and other incredible planting, is Monet's garden in Giverny. We also went at the end of May - May 26th, to be exact. There are roses growing everywhere including the famous row of arches filled with roses. Trust me, this is a sight you don't want to miss. If I had the money and time, I would go back in a heart beat!! |
