Zone 8 Ca. Suggestions!

Hi all, I need you to add to the great advice you are always giving me.

My parents wanted some roses added to their house, they got some nice ones, Angel face, double delight, and one that was labeled Mr. Lincoln but, has no fragrance, on the bright side whatever it is it produces some of the biggest most beautiful roses I've seen.

Anyway, they want some more and would prefer fragrance or if no fcragrance an interesting color.

they are in Zone 8, in a dry climate, doesn't get much above 90 in the summer and doesn't get below freezing in the winter.
Although they want hybrid teas or floribundas, I'm looking for as low maintenence as possible with the fragrance,
there, now that I've made you read all of this, here is a quick list of some ones I was thinking of, PLEASE suggest more or tell me if I'm off base with some of these!!

Full Sail,
Chrysler Imperial,
Marylin Monroe
Liverpool Remembers,
Tiffany,
Queen Elizabeth,
Judy Garland,
Blueberry Hill,
Fragrant Cloud,
Sheilas Perfume
Perfume Delight.

Any suggestions??
Thanks!
Scott

Hi Scott, I'm very surprised that Lincoln has no fragance because in my garden it has a strong one in zone 9. I also have Tiffany rose and it smells very good but Queen Elizabeth has no fragance. You could make your choice if you consult these sites :

Bye.

Mr. Lincoln is very fragrant, as equally strong as Chrysler Imperial. Maybe it is one of those suprises that was mislabled. Granda is quite fragrant and has a good repeat.

Hello Scott....
I can also recommend Fragrant Cloud and Chrysler Imperial for having a strong scent. And I'll add that GRANADA is one of the favourites in my garden both for the strong perfume and the beautiful colours. I have it planted on the edge of a walkway to the front door and visitors first marvel at the colours and then notice the scent as they walk by, usually then having to lean over for a sniff. Another favourite is JUST JOEY - a beautiful slightly ruffled large flower which also has a strong perfume. I have it planted in pots on our patio beside our table where we sit for lunch. These are photos taken in our garden. Good Luck !
