Hello,

I would like to contact Sangerhausen and tried their website with no response. On the US antique rose forum we have been discussing roses developed by Professor Niels Ebbsen Hansen.

He brought 'Alika' (R. gallica grandiflora) to the US and released it in 1906. His other introductions are 1912 to 1942 so they're not particularly old. However, there are only three commercially available in the states. In our discussion, the comment was made that in Jaeger's "Rosenlexikon" book, many of Hansen's roses are listed as growing at Sangerhausen. If any are still growing there, I would like to know which and if it would be possible to obtain cuttings of them.

If you could provide me with contact information I would greatly appreciate it. Like I said, the contact info on the webpage didn't seem to work for me (I don't know why--I thought I was managing it even though I don't speak German)

Thank you so much!
