Paris rose gardens

Please, if anyone has been to Roseraie de l'Hay near Paris in France, could you help me with some information? I'd like to know how you travelled there from central Paris, if it was by public transport, how long it takes to get there, what it's like there (size, are plants labelled, how long did you spend there, was there somewhere nearby to eat etc etc), almost anything you could tell me. I'm hoping to go in early July if I can, but the website gives little information other than very basic facts, and it does seem to be well away from train stations etc.
Are there any other gardens good for seeing roses, in Paris? I know of the Bagatelle in Bois de Boulogne. I'm hoping to see some well established old roses and would especially like to know which ones they are, so I can plan my own planting long term accordingly.
So ANY information would be very gratefully received. Thank you.
