Anyone growing Austin's 'The Generous Gardener'

| It's new in the US, just introduced this year, so no one on this side of the pond has any information about it. I'm currently pining for it, to the point that I'm considering ordering it bareroot as I head into summer here in California. I think it's been available for a while now in the UK, so would love to hear of any experience with it, particularly in terms of blooms, fragrance, and disease resistance. Thank you! |

The Generous Gardener was new in David Austin's catalogue 2002, so we don't have it in Europe for a long time neither, ans maybe that's why you had no answer. I think that one of my friend got it this winter, so I will be able to tell you more about it in a few months, for the bloom's period and the disease resistance, and as soon as I go to this friend's home, for the fragrance, if she has it as I think she has.
