what is the best soil for roses in pots ?

what is the best soil for roses in pots ? I use 50% garden soil + 25% turf + 25% perlite + a litle manure, but I have very poor results (flowers and leaves), any advice ?

Gardener and Bloom Rose Planting Mix works great. I've used it for years.

This American planting mix most likely can't be found in Greece. Roses like clay soil but in pots you also need something to lighten up the clay. I should have thought perlite would work well. Greek friends grow wonderful roses in pots on their roof in Maroussi, even tall climbers. They use a bagged soil so I suggest you ask at a local nursery about the best mix for roses.
