Rambler

Can anyone guess at what this rose is- a rambler, very thin pale geen stems and foliage, and prone to mildew. Small ,dense (25mm dia) flowers in mid pink, slight perfume. It was very popular in the '20s and '30s. Saw it on TV once and think the name may have been countess ... or similar. I had several in my last house that were planted in the '20s but have just found a darker version growing in a village that was abandoned in 1930 and have taken cuttings.

Very difficult to identify without at least a photo. Do you have any that you could mail? How big does the variety grow? As already said Dorothy Perkins does sound a possibility. Excelsa aka Red Dorothy Perkins could be the other one.
