What is it?/climber

I found a rose(two of it) in my new garden. Please, anyone could help with what it might be?
Vigorous, very thorny, 7-8' min., upright growth with straight, thick, woody(very old?)main shoots(5-6) upto the top of the 7' arch (untrained?)then 3'plus side shoots from top of arch within 2 weeks appearing during summer, going a bit up and sideways from the top.
Bloom: it was in bloom here in the UK when we arrived in the beginning of June, flowered till mid July. Do not know if it repeats. Flowers are medium sized(2"-ish), appear on lax, short stems, individually or rather in small sprays/clusters(4-6), giving a great impression in mass. They are of a pale/medium salmon/apricot pink, slightly fainter on the edge of the petals(whitish), giving an untidy impression when open. Double, not too filled out, no scent that I could detect.
Foliage: nothing special, leaves rather on the small side, in fives, sevens. Dark purple when young.
Small, rounded hips.
On some missing information I cannot fill you in as I had to keep cutting it back throughout the summer that we could go through the arch into the garden as it does not have enough space there. Please, help me to find it somewhere suitable.
Thanks, Talta |

| If you haven't identified this yet, perhaps you can post a photo on the gallery when it blooms. Andrea |
