Climbing American Beauty?

Postat av Marianne018 mid-Sweden (My Page) den

Climbing American Beauty is a largeflowered climber bred by Hoopes in 1909. In spite of the name it is not a sport of the HP American Beauty (aka Mme Ferdinand Jamin.) It is said to be non-recurrent. There is a found rose widely grown in Sweden called "Wrams Gunnarstorp" after the manor where it was found. This is a fairly good repeater. There is now growing suspicion that this foundling may in fact be Cl. American Beauty, because they look identical. I'd like to know if anybody grows this rose and can tell me if it does repeat?
