I understand this shrub can be used as a 'self clinging' climber against walls - would it serve the same purpose when grown against a fence?

RE: euonymus radicans

It may cling onto a wall or fence since it can grow aerial roots a bit like regular ivy, but I've not found it to be a very strong climber. On the other hand, I've seen pictures of it doing a very good job of covering walls to above head height. Its worth a try, maybe it just needs a bit of practice :)
