| hey,
I'm looking for popular horticultural businesses across Europe. Im currently attending cornell university and am trying to plan a year stay in europe working or interning for horticultural industries across europe. I am asking for some advice about popular hort. businesses with a good reputation that would provide me with an educational experience. Any business names that you can give me will helpe me with my search.

RE: european nurseries and garden centers

| The Netherlands is the centre of the European horticultural industry, for indoor plants, garden plants and of course, for bulbs. There are 950 plantsmen around the city of Boskoop. One I know is Esveld. North of Hamburg in Germany is another cluster of nurseries, clematis, rhododendrons, roses and alpine plants. Kordes Rosen is one rose nursery. In Britain (but Brits should comment on this) East Anglia is a centre of horticulture with firms like Blooms of Bressingham, Peter Beales, Norfolk Lavender etc. |
