Newly laid turf

Was wondering if anybody out there who is an expert in these fields could possibly give me any tips on how to protect my newly laid (yesterday!) turf from the imminent snow and frost that's about to fall.
Many thanks...

A bit late now, I know, but I wouldn't worry if I were you. It will be fine. Just don't go tramping around on it.

Now that it has thawed, make sure that it is still flat and in contact with the soil below.

Thank you, it seems to be hanging in there! How long will turf usually take to bond then ?

I would say 2-3 weeks in spring
I laid some in November and rooted although it wasnt particularly cold, it took about 4 weeks!

But when i know we are going to have a heavy frost or snow, i cover with fleece, helps to protect the roots and soil a bit

Depends how often you lift it to see if the roots are bonding ;)
