Is it possible to grow garlic from seeds saved from the previous year?

RE: Planting garlic seeds

Garlic from seed? Whatever next. Do you really mean seeds, or cloves?

You can grow from cloves you've saved from the previous year. They should do okay if you plant now. They are best from a late autumn planting, but you will get a good enough crop if you do not plant later than March.
