Hi Everyone,
i live in Walsall in the west midlands and have been trying to find a gardening club i could join,preferably one that covers gardening in general,not the one kind of plant type.
Thought it would be nice to be able to meet up with others who share my interest,swap plants and seeds and maybe days out visiting gardens.
Does anyone here know of any that are not to far from me.

Hi Traceym...are you a member of the Cottage Garden Society? I think this would meet your needs. We meet monthly... in Winter we have talks on all aspects of gardening, and in Spring/Summer lots of lovely garden visits.You would love it !! I live in Birmingham and we meet for our indoor talks at Bentley Heath (Solihull)

Have you asked your local library or Council offices? They probably have lists of local clubs and societies. And like the Cottage Garden Society, many national gardening societies have local groups.

Thanks for the replies,unfortunatly i don,t drive so solihull is a bit too far,i,ve not managed to find anything surfing the web,so think checking out the local libraries is a good idea,will let you know if i come up with anything.
As you are in brum Marigold i hope you enjoy the gardeners weekend at kings heath,i have been for the last 4 years,its a lovely day out.

Hi Traceym... I love the King's Heath show...it's my favourite...I usually help out on the Cottage Garden Society stand for a couple of hours so maybe I'll see you there this year.

Feb 07 - Dear ladies from Walsall - I live in the Park Hall Area and would love to start a gardening club for like minded people who love plants and visiting gardens. I look forward to hearing from you.
