| Hi
I'm really hoping someone can help me with this.
I'm looking to plant a cherry tree and another fruit tree in our back garden. It's not a huge garden but a good size.
I have been looking at two types of dwarf (or semi dwarf)trees. The first is Stella on a Gisela 5 rootstock (which I think grows to 3 metres)and the second is simply called a "Compact Stella" (see link)which apparently grows to 2 metres.
I'm confused. Dunno which to pick.
Can anyone tell me
1.if they have either of these
2.if they have tried "festooning" on cherry trees (in case they get too tall)
3.which they would recommend
4.Do peach trees do well in UK weather?
5.any other dwarf tree that would be good for my garden and also the space I would need to leave in between the two trees.
PHEW!
Really sorry for rambling on but I have been confused about all this for a number of days and would like to finally put my order in before they all sell out!
Thanks in advance!
