Nurseries that ship Bugmansias to the United States?

I'm looking to expand my brugmansia collection with some European hybrids. Does anyone know of any European nurseries that ship plants to the United States? All of the ones I contacted do not ship outside the UK.

Are there plant brokers available that act as a middleman and accept plants from a nursery and then forward them on to an oversees customer?

I'm familiar with the United States horticulture import policies and would handle the permitting on the US side.

Thanks!

Fred

Sorry Fred, I can't help, but most EU companies don't ship to the states as the costs are horrendous, and even if they have all the paperwork correct it's not a guarantee the US customs will allow them in - so all in all it's just too much hassle for most of them. Couple all that to the costs (airmail postage etc )and it just becomes uneconomic.

Shame though.
