RE: someone growing vegtables

We've just had this discussion elsewhere on this Forum - people in the US aren't allowed to exchange seeds with people elsewhere in the world. Your USDA regulations make it illegal for you to import seeds from other countries.

Please don't post on the UK Forum asking us to help you break your country's laws. We aren't allowed to post on any of your US Forums.

If you find the law inconvenient, you should be joining others to try and get the USDA regulations changed so you can exchange seeds with gardeners in other countries again.

Check the current position on the USDA website.

Here is a link that might be useful: USDA Seed Import Proposals

I think what crazylady means is that we are not allowed to trade seeds or plants with the US. We are certainly allowed to post on the US forums. I do all the time and find them fascinating - very different attitudes, methods and conditions prevail over there. I like the vegetable forum where such things as runner and broad beans are often regarded as curiosities while melons and peppers are everyday stuff.
