These seeds are looking very enticing. When do I collect, how do I store and how do I grow them?

Thankyou

RE: mahonia seeds

I collected mine last year when the berries were soft. Otherwise they fell off and I missed them. I took the seeds out of the berries straight away (very messy), and I keep the seeds in an envelope in a plastic box in the fridge. I haven't actually sowed them, but if I was going to, I'd probably do in outside around September/October.

I've had one or two self-sown seedlings, so it ought to be OK to sow them now and just wait, which is what would happen naturally.
