Another sick olive

My very small olive plant has shown every sign of being dead - no new growth whatsoever, what little foliage it has is brown and leathery. However, when I scratch the bark it looks green underneath so it has had a reprieve from the compost heap so far.

Is there any hope for it, do you think?

I never have any problem with them here, other than pollination which can be haphazard here.

It looks like something has gone wrong, but if the bark is still live I wouldn't bin it yet. Good luck.

Praise the Lord!! My olive is now sprouting enthusiastically! Took until Mid July, though.
