| It could grow in a warm, sunny spot in your house, but only if you mist it or keep the humidity high. |

| No. There are only two places in the U.S. where they will grow, and they are southern Florida and southern California along one particular area. They are not numerous in either place; so they would not be suitable at all in a British climate. |

| Even though I live in zone 10a, coconuts wouldn't last long because summers are short and we have wet winters. We can grow alocasioa, howea, strelitzia and other subtropical plants without protection though. |
