What will they come up with next. The sun`s UV rays would no doubt destroy/bleach it in a couple of years or so. You might as well plant a real hedge :) |

| I have the artificial hedge installed in my garden. It has a ten year guarantee against sun damage. It is easy to install and has no maintenance, provides instant screening. What more could you want!! I love it. |

| I have Instant hedge and the Ivy leaf in my back garden, it was put up about five years ago and its the best thing i have ever done. Unlike Fence panels you don't have to paint it, clean it or pay someone to cut the hedge, it still looks as new today as it did five years ago. Its better for the environment as you don't have to cut down trees like you do for fence panels and it screens off any unsighlty area and in the winter months when all the trees and plants die off my back garden is still lovely and green and i don't have to maintain it al all. I wonder if hex2006 has actually got a clue about what he is talking about as its the best thing i have ever brought, i would recommend it to anyone. |

| "Its better for the environment as you don't have to cut down trees like you do for fence panels"? You seem to advocate that a non biodegradable petrochemical product is somehow better for the environment than a fencing panel that comes from sustainable forestry. A fencing panel has co2 locked within the timber and the ongoing planting of trees in sustainable forestry take more co2 from the atmosphere..as does a living hedge ;) |

| hex2006 - don't waste your time. This is spam. All these 'posters' register on the day they post. It's clearly junk advertising. Ignore it. |

Hi Flora I enjoy a bit of banter with these drop-in salesmen types :) I noticed that they both registered within a day or two. I reckon these synthetic hedges would appeal to people that have plastic flowers embedded in astroturf lawns :) |

| I think they would be very good idea for landlords who have bigger gardens whose tenants never bother to cut the grass & keep the hedges trimmed. Always a pain, I know & you cant exactly force the issue either. But apart from that I cant honestly see the point, but thats maybe just me! |

| "I reckon these synthetic hedges would appeal to people that have plastic flowers embedded in astroturf lawns :)" There's no way the Tellytubbies could read Gardenweb anyway, TinkyWinky is always hogging the PC with his WoW addiction. |
