Pls help identify plant - like lavender??

Hi

I've been frantically trying to identify a plant I use to own without success.
I bought it around 4 years ago from a well known DIY outlet but unfortunately had to leave it behind when I moved house a year ago.
I can only describe it as follows:
Similar structure to lavender, in that it had a woody base with a single stem that split into multiple smaller stems;
It was approx 1 foot when I bought it and it grew to about 2.5 foot by the time I moved;
Its foliage wasn't leaves as such (more like long prongs???), it stood upright and looked almost like a fern/grass from a distance;
The foliage was soft and flexible to the touch and evergreen (bright light green in year round colour);
In the spring/summer it had lots of tiny pinkish-white flowers (approx 5mm each) that had lovely fragrance when touched.

I really hope someone can identify this for me. I truly think this is my favourite ever plant so it would be a shame not own another...
Thanks in advance.

My first thought was Perovskia but Linaria could be candidate.

Here is a link that might be useful: Perovskia atriplicifolia
