Choisya ternata ( Mexican Orange)

I have been given a container-grown yellow-leaved shrub, labelled Choisya ternata 'Brico' (or 'Brica') It is now about 18" tall and I need to plant it out in the garden, but I can't find any information re this particular variety - particularly its eventual size. (I have searched the internet and i have NEVER been let down by technology before).I presume it will need full sun to keep the leaves yellow. I want to plant it as part of a coloured hedge, so I particularly want to know if I can restrict the height to about 3 feet. Any info re Brico gratefully received.

Hello Madeline2.

The plant will be fine in a hedge situation and can be kept to 3 or 4 feet in height but you could lose some potential flowering shoots. Brica is a newer variety noted for its good coloured foliage that will tolerate some shade.
Best wishes,

We sell Choisya Ternata with golden foliage. The standard plant being SUNDANCE we find often plants which are imported from Europe carry the name BRICA although the order was for Sundance so we presume the plant is one and the same. If it isnt it is identical in our view to Sundance.

Brica is the same as Sundance.
