RE: Gardens in Dumfries and Galloway

I have just been touring round the gardens in Dumfries and Galloway and have been overwhelmed with the variety. Logan botanics is just incredible, exotic plants that were collected in many countries growing as if they were in their natural habitat. Threave garden was the quintissential Scottish garden, beautifuly maintained by an expert team teaching their pupils. Cally Gardens is a hidden gem. Michael personally travels around the globe to get new and exciting specimens. This area is truely unique. I had a wonderful stay at The Old Exchange and their web page on gardens is very useful.
