| Is it a good place to move the garden shed to, along with some paving for access? (For some reason garden sheds ALWAYS get put in the sunniest places!!) Fernery - using ferns under the big tree and letting the duff and leaf-drop from the firs form an access? Garden retreat using 'hard' features such as trellis, stone, wrought iron, 'found art' or whimsy? Is it a 'destination' in the garden - or a focal point? What would really bring it to life? Any particular colours or textures - such as oriental Hellebores as a spring treat and a summer green patch. Pulmonaria and Hosta and Brunnera and Corydalis for a spring-summer break using the foliage to give a 'light' effect? (With some solids so the variegateds don't become 'too much'!) |
