Midges

Am I paranoid or have I been bitten by midges?

The council used a lot of weed killer on the garden I have taken over. But this last few weeks I have been struck with a terible rash that lasts about a week.

I had it right up my arms when I was digging in a tee shirt but with long sleeves on I only have it on my wrist.

I would have thought you would feel a bit if it si midges or gnats. But i never felt a thing until later. The tissue swelled and hardenes ands it itches every couple of hours not all hte time.

Its very strange. There were lots of small flying things when I was digging this summer. I know i should have waited for colder weather. But there is som much to do and if I put it off I will never get going on time.

RE: Midges

I've just started a compost bin, one of the black plastic ones from Recyclenow.co.uk. I've found that there are loads of midgey things. i think I'm going to get a load of Venus fly traps...?
