Yes, at last! One flower this morning, the first from my five yr old tree in a pot (it's about 2m high and only come indoors during very cold spells). I was wondering if anyone else has experience with this most gorgeous of trees, particularly with regard to flowering in the UK.

Yeah, I always think about that. It can take cold tempetratures - there are lots in Verona, and minus 7 or 8 isn't unusual there - but I never feel I can risk it (we get minus 9 or 10 once or twice every winter). I guess in a couple of years I'll have to!
RE: Albizia lophantha

There is a specimen of Albizia julibrissin at Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire which has been outside for some while, though I don't know whether or not it has flowered. Here at Arduaine a 5ft specimen of Albizia lophantha has not only survived a minus 6 degree winter but actually grew during the winter. Has anyone had experience with this species, now known as Paraserianthes lophantha. Maurice.
