Very easy to find. E. gunnii is very easy to find. Eucalyptus trees are not small though so get ready for some pruning!

Very easy to grow fom seed as well. You could just treat them as bedding plants then. Everyone I know who has grown them as a permanent plant seems to regret it in the end as it towers over their property!

can i grow them inside? like in a 3" pot? saw a tree (uge) in Whales in criccieth (sorry for the spelling!!!) i though i could have a smaller version in my bathroom (lots of light...)

My euc seedlings have to tolerate all kinds of abuse and mainly live, so I would try them anywhere. Seeds seem to germinate fairly well so you would have lots to play around with. I have certainly left mine in 3" pots for lengthy periods when I don't get round to tending to them and they seem to forgive me. I gather that they need to be put into the ground while small in order to develop a stabilising root system but if you were going to try them as a pot plant it wouldn't matter if they got a bit potbound. I (think) I've tried E. niphophila, globulus, citriodora. All of these are just about hardy. Chilterns have loads of choice. Thinking about it, I gave one to a friend who put it under the huge skylight in his attic and it grew OK.
