Make Posting Photographs Easier

I have mentioned this before, but was prompted to repeat it after reading Garden Nerd's reply to Is the Forum Dying?

A gardening forum cries out for pictures, whether it be identifying insects etc or species or just plain showing off our triumphs .... and disasters!

On other forums I use the posting of pics is dead easy, but not here. It is ridiculous that people have to verbally describe things when a picture would quickly suffice.

This is really a plea to the site's webmaster. Can you help keep the forum active and interesting?

You may want to post a request for a Gallery on the Suggestions & Comments Forum.
You can also open a free account with Photobucket. The HTML code is provided which makes posting photos easy.

I have posted on the suggestions and comments forum as you suggested. Thanks for the advice re Photobucket, but why should anyone need to go outside the forum to post pics?

We managed to get a gallery on the pond forum. We asked and put our names on the suggestions page. You need a few people to go and put their names on, the more names the better chance of getting what you want. If only one person asks then you won't have much of a chance. It then has to be used of course.

I agree. A picture EASILY accessed and Posted makes the Forum SO MUCH MORE LIKELY to be used and used more easily. I also find it tedious to click, copy and then manage a image gallery at Photobucket (as good as it is

Yes, as a new member one thing I would very much like is help in identifying plants. Sending photos I would think is a must, and should be easy to do!
