hi there, is anyone growing or has grown iochroma australis? I have grown a couple of plants from seeds sown this year and the plants are enormous - around 120cm high and 100cm wide, looking lushly leafy but no signs of flowers in leaf axils. According to Chiltern Seeds, they should flower in the first year. Mind you, not much sign of blooms on my daturas (brugmansias) yet either and as for the cobaens scandens.....
Can anyone tell me what to look for and should I be giving the iochroma a high potassium feed? All suggestions appreciated.

Yes I've grown it, and it certainly didn't flower in the first year, second or even third according to my memory.
When it did flower I wasn't that impressed, the flowers were hidden by the foliage - it came out, it wasn't good enough to warrant the space it took up.
