Fasicularia bicolor - hardy?

Got bought one of these - it looks spiky but apparently has a spectacular flower. My sister bought it in Devon, and was assured it was hardy, but I'm in Oxford and it will get -10 the odd night every winter. Space is at a premium indoors.

Perfectly hardy here and must have had minus 7 or 8. Flowers are more interesting than spectacular but worth waiting for.

Maurice.
