is anybody growing Thunbergia mysorensis?

i would really like to get hold of one but all the internet suppliers have some sort of huge minimum order or a ridiculous postage rate. How long does it take for them to get to flowering size?

dos anybody have any seed/cuttings they are willing to share? Or know of any reasonable supplier?

RE: thunbergia mysorensis

Hi, Hen. I live in the S. of Spain but bought my first (I now have three) Thunbergia Mysorensis from Chessington Garden Centre. They have a large one in their Tropical glass house and often have plants for sale. I don't know whereabouts you live so it may be miles off for you. Anyway seeing their large one if flower I bought the smallest they had (about 1' high as it had to fit in my suitcase)and it flowered the following year. I have since found it locally in a nursery (6' plants at 5.95 Euros!!) and have bought two more - just in case!! If you have no luck getting one let me know and I'll happily try rooting a cutting for you.
