| I had one last year which spent all day on the hub cap of my car (parked, I hasten to add) and saw one a couple of years ago on petunias in the window boxes of the Town Hall in the city centre. |

| I had one last night, on a Buddleia. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't posted this, as it's not as big as most of the Hawk Moths I've seen, so I could easily have assumed it was just an indecisive bee hovering round the flowers. |

| Yes, we saw one here last week! Never seen one before and was very impressed. It was so fast, zipping from flower to flower and plant to plant. My partner tried to catch a photo of it and managed to get one where it's got its tongue sticking right out. |
