Help! I am having a lot of trouble with Birds digging up my lawn to eat the Chafer grubs . Has anyone tried the Biological control nematodes ? It is so expensive, I would like to know if it works before I buy it .

RE: Chafer grubs

Very surprising! Up here at least (northeast England), they're very rare due to agricultural intensification, pesticide over-use, etc. I've only ever seen one chafer once, and that was many years ago.

I'd say don't do anything, you're helping to conserve an endangered species.
