Plants for wet corner of the garden

Posted by vandevyvere (My Page) on

Hello everybody
I have in my garden a small piece that does not get any sun (but still plenty of light) and that is very wet. I was wondering if someone knows some plants (preferably flowering ones) that I can grow there. I must stress that it is wet soil. Also that it is close to the house so I can not plant any big plants or trees.
Thank you all

Yves

Gunnera if your winters aren't too cold and you want something big.

Aruncus (Goatsbeard) si a very common choice. But its common because it works :)

Some Astilbes will do well, some will not flower in deep shade.
