| Has anyone ever found vine weevil grubs in geranium or pelargonium roots? |

Although I haven't had the evil weevils in geraniums or pelargoniums, in my experience, no plant is immune to them. I have found them in pots of lilies this week. Marigold |

| Yes I agree, they will attack a wide range of hardy and tender plants. The larvae either sever the roots or remove the outer layer both resulting in poor growth, wilting foliage and subsequent death. Chemicals available to the home gardener are not in my view wholly effective and it might be well worth using a biological control(pathogenic nematodes) My Website |
